A mid-to-senior level resource who understands both the business and technical side of a company well enough to communicate between the two. Within the context of a BI project, they understand the requirements, obstacles, and issues of each to make decisions on various courses of action. Additionally, this person should be highly involved in a BI project – communicating with the project manager constantly. Sometimes the business driver fills this role.
