Someone who analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its processes and systems, assesses the business model, and determines integration with technology. Their solutions can be the use of technology architecture, tools, or software application. In a BI project, this person is often responsible for determining business needs and translating them into architectural data and application requirements.
